Tuesdays 7:30 – 8:30, 3/4/2025 - 3/25/2025
Through Middleton Park and Recreation Department. 4-part series, no new students after the first session without instructor approval. You must register with the Village Recreation department 10 days before the first class date and pay for the class before you RSVP so you know you have a space.
Classes are taught to the AIDA Syllabus (professional moves in a casual atmosphere). For all classes, you must have clean, dry shoes on the dance floor.
Partners are preferred though not required. If you are registering without a partner the Village can tell you the balance (extra men or women) when you register. No refund if we can’t find a partner (that’s why you should register
early!). We already have some folks registered for all of these classes.
Cost is dependent on residency. To Register:

instructor John Curran says:
"Because I concentrate on the 'connection' you have with a partner I love Argentine Tango which is quite different from ballroom as it’s more connected / intimate as well as being more improvisational. Originally from Argentina, it was taken to Europe to be “legitimized” by society then brought back. It was banned for years in Argentina but saw a resurgence in the 80’s and is still very popular today. We will concentrate on 5 essential characteristics that make
Argentine Tango (and ALL dance) truly enjoyable."
