Workshop Description

Anna's workshop focuses on different aspects of Argentine tango, but always explores how to execute beautiful tango moves.

About Anna

Anna Snider has been dancing tango for 25 years. In 1998 she co-founded Pasión por el Tango, which evolved into Madison Tango Society. Her professional life took her away from Madison for over 15 years, during which she lived, danced and studied tango in New York, France, Spain and England. Anna’s early tango influences were Leandro Palou and Andréa Missé, resident teachers at Tango...Nada Más in Chicago. She continued to learn from them in Buenos Aires and London. Over the years she has also studied other forms of dance, including ballroom, salsa, ballet, aerial dance and bellydance.

Anna’s motivation for teaching tango is ¡más y mejor! (more and better) tango in Madison and everywhere. She draws upon her background in music (piano, oboe, flute) to bring musicality to her dancing and teaching.

Anna's workshop is followed by The Milonga Matinée 3 - 5 pm.

Cost

$20 for both tango class and milonga

OR

• $15 - just the tango workshop, 2 -3 pm
• $5 - just the milonga, 3 - 5 pm
