Madison Tango Society is pleased to welcome the super-talented tango instructor Veronika "Vero" Kruta to Madison for workshops and private lessons Oct 1 - 5. Vero will also DJ the MTS 1st Saturday Milonga for October on Saturday Oct 3!

PRE-REGISTRATION: You are not required to pre-register, but it will smooth our planning and registration at the venue itself, so please do so if you can, either on the MTS web site or via cash/check in person. Advance pre-registration for a workshop package may qualify you for a volume discount.

About Veronika:

Veronika has been dancing tango since 2005 and teaching since 2011. Known for her clear, effective, and encouraging style, she brings a charismatic presence to the classroom.

At the heart of her teaching is helping dancers bridge the gap between accumulating information and truly understanding how tango works. Through the lens of body mechanics, relational dynamics, musical expression, awareness, and a deep understanding of tango's underlying architecture, she helps students internalize the principles that underpin the dance, develop strong fundamentals, and create more expressive, meaningful dances with every partner.

Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she has lived for over 13 years, Veronika's teaching has been profoundly shaped by immersion in Argentine culture, language, and social traditions, as well as by her background in yoga, fine art, and life coaching. She hosts yoga and tango retreats and travels internationally to teach workshops.
