Workshop: "Closed Side Connection - Applications for Communication, Pivots, and Changes in Axis"

Workshop Description

Kevin's workshop focuses on how to work within the close side of the tango embrace for creating connection with your dance partner, applying it to communication in pivots and axis changres.

About Kevin

Relocated to Madison, Kevin first got involved with partner dancing through a free summer series offered by the Yale Tango Club. There, he was taught by his peers as well as heavily influenced by his tango teachers, Tomas Corbalan, Dagny Miller, and Robin Thomas. His favorite dances often involve moments when the lines between leading and following seem to blur.

Kevin's workshop is followed by him Dj-ing The Milonga Matinée 3 - 5 pm.

Cost

$20 for both tango class and milonga OR

• $15 - just the tango workshop, 2 -3 pm

• $5 - just the milonga, 3 - 5 pm
