Workshop Description

In this beginner level workshop, Tony and Jen offer the building-blocks for all you need to know to get your tango onto the dance floor., emphasizing how connection in Argentine tango is key. For more advanced dancers, these building blocks can be used to create dynamic and exciting dance.

About Tony and Jen

Tony and Jen have danced tango together for over 15 years and have taken classes from Jacques Saint-Cyr and Maria Castello, workshops and privates with a wide range of masters, including, Somer Surgit and Jessica Stserbakova, Gustavo Benzecry and Luciana Guido, Kara Wenham and Javier Antar, Fabian Salas and Lola Diaz, Adrian Veredice and Alejandra Hobart, World Champions Jessica Arfenoni and Maximiliano Cristiani, and many more. They taught the MTS beginner lessons for many years, including a series on "Milongarobics."

Tony and Jen's workshop is followed by The Milonga Matinée 3 - 5 pm. Cost $15 for both tango class and milonga OR

• $10 - just the tango workshop, 2 -3 pm
• $5 - just the milonga, 3 - 5 pm
