Minnesota Tango Music Festival 2024

While normally MTS does not post events occurring outside of Wisconsin, this is an extraordinary opportunity - a festival celebrating local tango musicians and bands in neighboring Minneapolis / St Paul!

A full weekend in May: showcase concert at The Parkway Theater, grand milonga at Triune with several tango orchestras, a milonga at Eagles Club with two quartets, a parrilla night (jam session) at Driftwood Bar. Classes available all weekend by Gaston Torelli and Gri Montanaro (Buenos Aires), and Sabine Ibes (Minneapolis). With DJ Rachel Moon and DJ Paul Lohman

Bands include Kingfield Ensemble (12-piece orquesta tipica) featuring singer Marco Tabacman Forzani, the brand new Northwoods Ensemble, our local Community Tango Ensemble, Charles Gorczynski Tango Quartet, Rogue Tango, and many small groups throughout the weekend.
