Workshop Description:

Join us for an all-levels workshop with Candela and Peter in which we'll dance tango to alternative music!

This is sometimes referred to as tango nuevo or alternative tango. Candela and Peter will explore tango movements that create opportunities for musical pauses, volcadas, and colgadas. Alternative music invites us to open up our dancing and be a bit more free in our movements. In an effort to support the feeling of freedom, Candela and Peter will be presenting the workshop in open embrace while placing strong emphasis on Argentine tango fundamentals and respect for others with whom we share the dance floor. Come out for some alternative tango fun!

Cost - please note the workshop price change going forward

$20 for both tango class and milonga

OR

• $15 - just the tango workshop, 2 - 3 pm
• $5 - just the milonga, 3 - 5 pm
